| Long Abstract | Deploying TYPO3 in the cloud has it advantages and clients love it. In this presentation we talk about some of the options and best practices for deploying TYPO3 on EC2. We will also demonstrate a TYPO3 extension that simplifies the setup and management of the of deployment scripts and recovery. |

Gaëtan MARMASSE
One of the few certified TYPO3 integrators in the United States, Gaetan Marmasse has 6+ years of deep backend development experience and is as comfortable working at the deep Linux command level as he is training clients in TYPO3. When programming, he always considers the optimal back-end configuration as well as the best long-term maintenance solution for his clients.
He has worked on a range of projects. Most recently, he collaborated closely with SAP-owned SuccessFactors on server administration, maintenance, training, and a site refresh for the company's multi-lingual sites and content.

Drawing on his deep experience in strategic communications and graphic design, Marc Infield leads our team of specialists providing website development strategy. Marc has guided multi-channel campaigns bridging online and offline media for such clients as SuccessFactors, Home Depot, Leverage Software, Stanford University Law School, Bianchi and Qualcomm. ID’s current web development focus is the custom design and integration of social networking, enterprise content management (ECM) and commerce software. Marc got his BS in Electronic Media at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
