|Long Abstract||todoyu – get tasks done with your team! todoyu is an award-winning web-based OS software written in PHP to get your projects and tasks done in a very efficient and organized way. It's all about bringing your team and clients together to work jointly on projects.
todoyu is a business application for project planning, reporting, tracking its progress and for communicating with team members. Define deadlines, assign tasks and communicate with your project team and clients until projects are done.
The time worked on every task can be recorded. Useful for future analysis, reporting and billing purposes. With the journal, every staff has a detailed monthly time sheet at hand. Work with your team, clients and outsourcing partners together in an easy-to-use web application. Assign tasks to team members, add comments, give feedback and share documents.
Schedule meetings in a shared calendar. Show all events to get the complete view of your organization, or filter by staff group, selected team members and event types. The calendar contains a daily, weekly and monthly view and of course you can sync your calendar with other sources over iCal.
todoyo also has a complete person- and address management included. Since it's open-source it's easy to get connectors to other tools like TYPO3, sugarCRM etc. With the extension repository on todoyu.com (http://www.todoyu.com/todoyu-extension-repository/) you can add lots of functions and extensions by just download and install them.
There are also powerful professional extension like the projectbilling, which lets you manage all your invoices of your projects directly within todoyu. Connectors to bank- and accounting software are just in a development progress, so that todoyu can also provide such interfaces this autumn.
You can export all your filtered data and tasks to a CSV just by a click and take further action on it with whatever you need. With the very flexible and configurable report section you can manage your projects real-time and you see the project-progress at any state of the project. This way, todoyu gives you a constant overview over your projects regarding all aspects of costs, duration & deadlines, quality & scope.
A powerful wizard, an official book (in german only) and lots of helpful online-documentation helps you to get into todoyu fast and easyly.
Adrian was born in Horgen at the lake Zurich on the 28th of April 1973. Later in the second half of the 90ies he started his studies in economic computer science which he completed in 1998. Then Adrian together with two friends (Dominic Brander & Markus Rohner) decided to live their dreams and established a Web-Company and so snowflake productions was born in 1999.
Already two years later snowflake came in touch with TYPO3. In 2002 Adrian and Dominic were able and lucky to participate at the very first TYPO3 snowboard tour (T3BOARD). In 2005, Adrian was one of five Co-Founder of the TYPO3 Association (T3A). Adrian worked in the board of the T3A from 2005 until 2012.
After 2004 snowflake began to grow steadily so that until now they have over 40 employees in the cities of Zurich, Bern and Lucerne.
snowflake has also developed the project management OS-software todoyu (www.todoyu.com). Now Adrian is looking for a CEO for a todoyu-spin-off company.
