Long Abstract CMP3 - the Cross Media Publishing Project for TYPO3 - helps you to create printable products like data sheets, catalogs, magazines or business cards out of TYPO3.

In out talk we will give an overview on how CMP3 works and what concepts are behind it.

Also, we will take a look at a real world example where CMP3 is used to produce product brochures in PDF format ready for print production: With TYPO3 content as single source for both web and print, the user is able to produce brochures in multiple languages in a very short time.

Modern digital printing processes enable you to produce brochures fast and cost-efficient. TYPO3 enables you to update your product data at any time, and have it published on the web if desired. CMP3 combines these two advantages, giving you a fast, cost-efficient way to produce up-to-date print products.

CMP3 is free and open source - thus we will also share our ideas about the next steps, and how you can participate!
